Your security and privacy are our top priority. At ExActLogger, we follow Privacy by Design and Data Minimization principles — we collect as little data as possible and keep you in full control.
Local-Only Processing: All telemetry data (GPS, orientation, sensors) is saved and processed 100% locally in your browser's private database (IndexedDB). No data is collected, stored, or sold by us.
No Tracking: We do not use cookies for tracking, nor do we sell personal information to third parties.
External API Calls:
Altitude Correction: If you use "Auto Altitude", your coordinates are sent to api.opentopodata.org (proxied via our server) to retrieve elevation data. This is only triggered manually by the user.
Maps: Navigation maps use tiles from OpenStreetMap and CartoDB. Loading these tiles reveals your IP and viewing area to these providers.
Analytics & Logs: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-focused, no cookies) and server-side GoAccess to monitor traffic. Visitor IP addresses are anonymized in our analytics reports.
Your Data, Your Control: Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser cache or using the "Clear All" button in the app.

Assumption of Risk: High-speed or dynamic activities (such as motorsports, cycling, skiing, etc.) are inherently dangerous. ExActLogger is designed strictly as a post-activity data visualization and entertainment tool. It is NOT a safety instrument, and its metrics (including speed, lean angle, and acceleration) rely on uncalibrated mobile sensors and GPS, which can be highly inaccurate. By using this application, you agree that you are solely responsible for your own safety, adherence to local laws, and safe practices. The application must not be actively monitored while driving or operating equipment.
Proprietary Software: This application is proprietary software. All rights are reserved. Accessing the source code does not grant any rights to copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
No Warranties: This software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of telemetry data.
Limited Liability: SimpleEverydayTools and its developers shall not be liable for any damages (including physical injury, death, financial loss, or legal penalties) arising from the use or inability to use this software, or from actions taken based on the data displayed.
Free Open Beta Terms
ExActLogger is currently in "Open Beta". By using the application during this phase, you agree to the following:
Free Access: All features are currently provided free of charge to gather feedback and improve the product.
Future Monetization: SimpleEverydayTools reserves the right to introduce paid "Pro" features or subscriptions in the future. "Early Adopters" who use the Beta may receive special considerations, but this is not a guarantee of a lifetime free license for all future modules.
Beta Status: This software is still under development. While we strive for accuracy, users are encouraged to report bugs via support.
